Cardigan

After I been with baby, I been living in
One gap jean and 3 Forever 21 t-shirts.
All because I did not wanted to spend too much money
buying clothes for ever chaning size of me.

But when chilly weather hit where I am,
( compare to East coast, of course it is warm spring weather)
I could not live out of thin layers of T-shirts anymore.
I needed to Knit or Buy something.



Here I present to you 'Jawbreaker' from Interweave winter 06
- Perfect cardigan for Pregnant woman.
Pattern was extremely easy and quick knit ( using chunky yarns)
and I don't have to worry about whether this cardigan will fit me
when my belly expand a week later
-- because It has already open front !

I used Rowan Plaid yarn - that I have frogged from my early
disaster cardigan ( One that I have washed in washing machine).

Only my complain is Yarn is extremely sheddy - I only able to
wear light color cotton T-shirt inside because it gets cover
with white, light blue and some black 1 1/2 length furs all over.
YUK!

Baby Shower

I had a baby shower today with small group of friends (8 people).
Shower was held at Scarlet Tea Room in Pasadena
- Where Atmosphere was Excellent ( Russian meets Rococo),
Food was awesome except price was little bit high ( 25 a person).

Tea shop Owner was extremely nice & service was attentive.
Even though Tearoom was packed with customer and busy
in their conversation, Nothing was obstructive to affect
our group's good time.

I had really good time -- meeting with friends who I haven't
seen awhile, talk about girl stuff and get good advises,
enjoy friend's baby & belly, and not to forget - receive
Baby gifts!!!

Hope you guys had as good time as I did

While I been knitting Chunky Baby Cardigan

My mother who visits me every Wednesday
to cook her gourmet meals for preggy and
check up on how big my belly gets wanted
to knit simple thing she can finish in a day...

Ready for a day out?

After a long wait for yarns to arrive,
Finally I was able to finish 2 baby knits.






First, Blue from Knitty.com.
As soon I saw these pattern long time ago, I always wanted
to knit one for a baby & can't believe I am doing it for mine.
Who can resist Knitted denim pants!
Not to mention too adorable pictures from Knitty.

Pattern was really easy except embroidery part &
not really attractive inside of the pants( due to Backstitich).

Second, Chunky cardigan from Cherished baby knit.
Pattern was perfect one to use long stored
light baby blue Organic cotton yarns that I been
holding on to.

Would they be perfect for a autumn day
( That I have knitted these for 6-9 months size)
